Program Highlights
My AAMEP experience was certainly a gateway to a lot of opportunities for learning, collaboration and professional development. I will always remember the varied inspiring stories of my fellows in their own community, most specifically their success stories.
I learned through the program that Islam in Australia may have challenges like other countries, but it embraces and overcomes them with open-mindedness and resilience.
The program had a significant impact on me personally and professionally. Since doing the AAMEP I have been promoted in my faculty rank and also received an award in Community Extension.
