Alumni Profile
Loqman is a Brunei-based entrepreneur, speaker, and educator. He is the founder of GenQu, formerly known as Al-Huffaz Management, a growing platform that connects over 200 Qur’an teachers with 2000+ students, making Qur’anic education more accessible.
Holding a BSc in Islamic Finance, he has contributed to government and corporate sectors, including the Civil Service Institute and DST Group. He also lectures on Entrepreneurship at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University.
As a speaker, Loqman has represented Brunei at the Global Muslim Business Forum 2023, ASEAN-ROK Startup Festival, TEDxGadong University Brunei Darussalam SBE , and more. His talks focus on Islamic Finance, Goal Setting, and Entrepreneurship.

Program Highlights
The AAMEP program was awesome! I learnt a lot, especially about every country’s unique Islamic environment and culture. A highlight of the program was meeting amazing speakers like Malaysian entrepreneur, Mr Sinan Ismail. The program showed us how diverse the people of Australia are. It still feels surreal to be able to say I’m an alumni of AAMEP.
