With her extensive experience in human rights and tourism sector, Zuhairah has been part of initiating various programs to not only highlight halal but also to uplift the Muslim communities, and promote Mindanao. It has also led her in co-founding the online community, Halal Happy Citizens (HHC) that has not only strengthened awareness of halal but also spread its economic value.

Alhamdulillah, the AAMEP experience has been wonderful. I was amazed to learn about the arrival of Islam in Australia. The Muslim community is larger than I thought and more diverse!
